The websites that deliver bouquets across the gateway to the fjords, from Bryggen to Åsane.

Norway's second city, with around 290,000 inhabitants, Bergen sits between seven mountains and the North Sea at the heart of Vestland county. Its Hanseatic wharf at Bryggen is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Fisketorget fish market is one of the landmarks of the centre. For flower delivery, Bergen has one particularity: its flower trade is long-established and well rooted, but the city spreads across steep terrain and several peninsulas, which lengthens delivery rounds as soon as you leave the centre.
Sentrum holds the lowest postal codes and is walkable: Bryggen, Nordnes, Nygård and the station area are all close together. The outer boroughs, by contrast, are very spread out — Åsane and Arna to the north and east, Fana and Ytrebygda to the south, Laksevåg and Fyllingsdalen to the west. Getting from the centre to Arna means a tunnel several kilometres long. If your recipient lives in one of these boroughs, enter the full postal code rather than just the name "Bergen": the postal code is what determines whether the address falls into the day's round.
Haukeland University Hospital is the major hospital for the whole of western Norway; Haraldsplass Diakonale Sykehus is the city's second institution. As everywhere in Norway, the ward and room number are essential. Bergen also has a large student population, tied to the University of Bergen and the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and sending flowers for a spring graduation is a common occasion here.
Bergen is one of the rainiest cities in Europe, with more than two metres of precipitation a year and around two hundred rainy days. That has a practical consequence: a bouquet left on a doorstep deteriorates quickly. Choose hand delivery where the site offers it, and enter the recipient's phone number rather than just an address — that is what lets the florist agree on a time instead of leaving the parcel outside.
With the florist networks, the fees shown in our table are national: they do not change between Oslo and Bergen. Surcharges can appear for outlying boroughs such as Arna or Ytrebygda, and they show up when the postal code is entered.
Yes. The Bryggen wharf now houses shops, offices and workshops and is served normally. For a business address in these historic buildings, give the company name: street numbers are hard to read from the quayside.
Bergen's oceanic climate stays mild but damp all year. Firm-stemmed flowers — tulips in spring, roses, lilies, chrysanthemums in autumn — handle transport better than very open arrangements. Sites that work with a local florist will in any case adapt the arrangement to what the market has that morning.
For a city-centre address, the lead times in the comparison table apply as shown. For Åsane, Arna or Fana, allow an extra day, especially if you order on a Friday: Norwegian florists do not deliver on Sundays.
